-
For the 1998
Sturgis Rally, we were the first to introduced our very popular Party
Shuttle to Main St., Sturgis.
-
For the 1999
Sturgis Rally we introduced our new Service/Detail Shop (Oil Changes & light
repairs) plus our New Individualized Showers & Bathrooms (all flush
toilets).
-
For the 2000
Rally, we added another Party Bus to our fleet, an all New Restaurant and
even a Cyber Room (for all your e-needs).
-
For the 2001 &
2002 Rally we added a 40' Swimming Pool, 2 Large Jacuzzi's, Upgraded the
Restaurant and Cyber Room, added a second laundry & built 7 Beautiful Luxury
Cabins.
- For the 2003 Rally, we built a new
Office/C-Store and a new building with a bay window and skylights over one
of the Jacuzzi's, making it available anytime, any weather, we built 4 more
Beautiful Luxury Cabins, we installed FREE high speed wireless internet
throughout, renovated (upgraded) restaurant, replaced the pool tables, added
more video and pinball games and best of all we tiled the floors and walls
in the showers, toilets and laundry, thus our 10 Rating from Good Sam -
Trailer Life (the highest rating possible).
- For 2004, we improved and/or fine tuned
the things we already installed.
- For the 2005 & 2006 we upgraded our
Restaurants Kitchen, added some more RV spaces, landscaped our existing RV
spaces, re-surfaced our roads and RV spaces added a propane filling station
($2.69 per gallon) up-graded all the shower stalls, painted our buildings,
installed a dedicated T-1 Blazing fast internet connection, added another
new wireless 802.11G system in addition to our existing 802.11B wireless
system, I changed the radio to a 10 disc CD changer with XM satellite radio
in the big bus.
- In 2007 we will be drilling another deep
well to eliminate the need for hauling water to meet our needs, building
even more Beautiful Luxury Cabins, remodeling our big building (Restaurant,
Laundry, Game Room, Shop) and converting the Shop into a 3 bedroom 1500 sq
ft apartment, up-grading the C-Store, planting more trees throughout,
- In 2008 we gave the exterior of the
pavilion a brand new roof and siding, and we also added a new 3 bedroom 2
bathroom apartment. and we planted 35 new 15' - 18' tall elm and ash trees
all around the campground.
- After the massive 2009 Hail storm on
August 7th, we had to replace all 28 roofs on the campground including the
pavilion, we also had to replace the siding on most of the buildings. We
upgraded the wireless internet with a 3 new systems, adding a 802.11N
network, now we have all 3 networks 802.11B, G & N, and upgraded the
computers in the cyber room, We bought chargers the most popular cell
phones, PDA's and IPods so you guys can charge your stuff in the cyber room.
- For the 2010 Rally we enclosed the awning
on the restaurant, removed all the inside walls, then we sheet rocked the
whole building and added air conditioning (no more flies at the dinner table
LOL!). This remodel added about 800 sq ft to the interior of the building.
We are applying for an on-off sale beer license for the first time, so you
don't have to go to town to get your beer. We also replaced most of the
existing and added a few new sidewalks all around the campground. I am
negotiating with DaBus to buy one of his big beautiful touring coaches,
(imagine going to the Full Throttle, as you are relaxing in the high back
seat, on the built-in video screens, we show the new TV series Full Throttle
Saloon...). And finally If we don't run out of time before the Rally, we are
going to use the steel from the pavilion roof to build carports around the
campground, or in this case bikeports.
